From the pastor

4 June 2026 – BELOVED FAITHFUL – The month of May has brought us many blessings, certainly also through the daily recitation of the Rosary. Thus, on 26 May, I received the news that we have finally obtained an altar for Lobith.

WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN permission to transfer an altar from the Diocese of ’s-Hertogenbosch to Lobith, and not just any altar, but one upon which the life of the Mother of God is depicted in every detail through beautiful carvings and paintings. Moreover, it is destined for a church dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. We have waited a long time, and now our prayers have been answered.

LET US ASK the Mother of God throughout the remainder of this year for her special assistance for our St Agnes Church and for our apostolate here, that it may be richly blessed and that all the building difficulties we are currently facing may, through her intercession, be brought to a good conclusion.

ON 10 June, I mark the twentieth anniversary of my priestly ordination, and I can look back with great gratitude upon this first significant part of the life that God has granted me, so that I might honour Him and minister His mercy to His people.

ON Sunday, 14 June, I would like to invite all of you to join me in giving thanks for these twenty years. Together we shall pray the prayers of the Confraternity of the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter for our priests and bishops, and afterwards share a drink together.

✠ With my priestly blessing,
Fr Martin Kromann Knudsen, FSSP, Pastor
